Notes From T-Bird Camp
Since 1945, athletics have provided a strong foundation for Casper College and the community. At the heart of the athletic program are students that come to Casper from across the globe. They are hard-working and dedicated to their sport. Many of the athletes have excelled at the four-year level and as professional athletes. But one thing is common among all of them, they began here, as a Thunderbird!

Gunnare Selected for Third Year
Casper College’s Women’s Basketball Head Coach, Dwight Gunnare, was named the North sub-Region Coach of the Year in Region IX for the 2019-2020 year and for the third year in a row.
"I am honored to receive this award from my coaching peers because there are a lot of very talented coaches in Region IX,” said Gunnare. “I also believe this is a recognition for my assistant coach, Nate Macy, for all the hard work he puts into our program,” noted Gunnare.
Two CC Players Sign Letters of Intent
As a testament to their outstanding abilities, two Casper College Lady T-Birds signed letters of intent this past November to continue playing ball at the university level. Read more here.
Gutting Participates in Inaugural TopConnect
Casper College head men’s basketball coach Shaun Gutting participated this past October in the inaugural TopConnect NJCAA Symposium. Gutting was one of 30 NJCAA head men’s basketball coaches. Eleven head women’s basketball coaches also participated. Read more here.

Jaye Johnson in Final Year at UW Shines
The University of Wyoming women's team made history with the first Mountain West tournament championship in the program's history.
